Late last year, Springer organized an internal virtual team spanning different continents dedicated to building reviewer resources, recognition and rewards (what we took to calling the “three R’s of reviewer needs”) in November of 2014.
Research videos can be an important tool in your research, but with the state of video on the web it may seem as though cats run things. There are over 2 million cat videos on YouTube, and we think research videos deserve a larger slice of that pie. Scientific publishing is constantly evolving, and as we look to the future we want to create the best, most useful videos possible, videos that will make an impact on your life as a researcher and scientist.

Historically we (Author & Partner Marketing and Services) have communicated via quarterly newsletters. But in a world where news breaks in an instant, that’s just not good enough—not engaging, not time-sensitive. So we gave it a lot of thought. And we started this blog.
