2017’s Source Highlights

Thank you for being a reader in 2017! As we embark on a new year we’re excited to bring more engaging content and a fresh look that represents our Springer Nature family of brands.

Before we kick off the new year, we’re sharing the must-read posts of the year based on our readers that you should be sure to check out if you’ve missed them.

The most read post this year was Researching September’s News With SharedIt, featuring a round-up of the month’s top headlines paired with research articles that provide more information on the topic. Thanks to SharedIt all articles can be read in full.

Our most engaging read, with the longest time spent on the page, was Blogging 101 for Academics with seven tips on how to get started on crafting your very own blog.

The most read category for the second year running was our Author channel, which continues to provide important news and information for journal and book authors.

The blog archives saw the most pageviews on 10 Steps to Evaluating Manuscripts as a Peer Reviewer, a great overview on where to get started when it’s time to submit your review of a paper.

The post that kept readers intrigued enough to then check out more content on the blog was Behind the Scenes at Springer Nature: Marketing, featuring a profile on one of our Springer Marketing Managers.

We hope everyone has a wonderful new year, and we look forward to bringing you more posts in 2018!
